    Job Description

    Are you a skilled video editor with a knack for storytelling in brief, engaging formats? Are you proficient in creating content tailored specifically for platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube?

    And while you're an editor first, do you have experience in motion design? Are you ready to help us build a team and help the agency learn what progressive work-in-motion looks like?

    If you're excited at the prospect of working with major consumer and employer brands such as PUMA, Nintendo, AXA, COTY, Currys, ABinBev, McDonalds, and even TimTams, you might be the ideal candidate.

    Key responsibilities:

    Generating brave creative ideas with strong conceptual insight.

    Designing across all stages of a project.

    From concept to completion. We're looking for someone that can lend themselves to art direction, storyboarding, editing and animation.

    Being culturally connected and aware of the world around you.

    Understanding trends, attending events and exhibitions.

    Taking ownership over projects.

    Hitting deadlines, collaborating with wider project teams, presenting to clients.

    Actively contribute to MSL culture and values.

    Live our values and take initiative to do.

    Qualifications

    Familiar with agency ways of working with a good understanding of agency processes. A strong communicator with the ability to present their work. Ability to take constructive feedback with a great attitude.

    Storytelling

    Pace. Music. Timing. You know how to tell a story no matter what the subject. Comfortable to work on external films and animations, award entries, pitch films and social content.

    End to end

    From concept to completion. We're looking for someone that can lend themselves to art direction, storyboarding, shotlist creation, directing, editing and animation.

    The sell

    You sell your creative through concept write ups, treatments and storyboards. A strong communicator with the ability to present your work.

    You have an expert eye for design, composition, timing and detail. You're constantly looking for 'whats next' in terms of trends, styles and art direction in the motion world and know how to apply them with finesse to your work.

    Technical Toolkit

    You know your way around core motion programs (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Audition, Photoshop, Illustrator). Bonus if you have a flair for illustration, 3D and/or augmented reality.

    Research new ways to enhance your creativity, including new plugins, software and shortcuts. Staying up to date with the latest innovations in animation, motion and design.
