    Multi-agency Violence and Exploitation (MAVE) and Multi-agency Child Exploitation (MACE) Panel Coordinator

    Job Summary:

    · To coordinate and administrate the Lambeth Multiagency Violence and Exploitation (MAVE) and the Lambeth Multiagency Child Exploitation (MACE) Panel in order to ensure the effective operation, performance and delivery of this panel, in partnership with key Lambeth safeguarding partners.

    · The MAVE and MACE panels work in coordination to safeguard young people at risk of harm in the community.

    · The MAVE panel is the operational panel and serves to problem solve for services targeted at young people, their families, and the locations they cohabit. The MACE coordinates the strategic response and provides the escalation process for MAVE issues.

    · Support the multi-agency Contextual Safeguarding response, with a particular focus on the coordination of a multi-agency response to children and young adults and peer groups at high risk of extra-familial harm; locations where extra-familial harm occurs; and perpetrators and individuals of concern.

    · This post involves the coordination of two multi-agency meetings and as such requires excellent administrative skills as a priority.'

    Key Duties/Accountabilities:

    · To coordinate and administrate the Lambeth Multiagency Violence and Exploitation (MAVE) Panel and the Multiagency Child Exploitation Panel (MACE) in order to ensure the effective operation, performance and delivery of this panel, in partnership with key Lambeth safeguarding partners.

    · Lead on developing the MAVE and MACE processes using innovative solutions to manage caseloads and ensure children/young adults and partner agencies receive an effective service.

    · Lead on refreshing the relevant administration forms, policies and procedures where required.

    · Coordinate and administrate the MAVE and MACE Panel meetings.

    · Work in close partnership with staff from the voluntary, statutory and community sector to ensure they are familiar with the MAVE and MACE processes, and their role and responsibilities within them.

    · Develop and deliver training and briefing sessions to a range of Lambeth practitioners on the MAVE and MACE processes and how to effectively respond to children and young adults and peer groups at high risk of extra-familial harm; locations where extra-familial harm occurs; and perpetrators and individuals of concern.

    · Collect and analyse MAVE and MACE referral and demographic data in order to identify any emerging themes. Liaise with referral agencies to offer support, guidance and problem solving where needed.

    · Prepare performance reports on the MAVE and MACE Panel, including statistical reports, for Lambeth's Multiagency Child Exploitation Panel and the Lambeth Safeguarding Children's Partnership Contextual Safeguarding Subgroup as required.

    · Support the work of the MAVE and MACE Panel Chairs in whatever way may be reasonably required.

    · Keep up to date with relevant safeguarding legislative and policy changes, in particular those that impact directly on the MACE and MAVE Panels, and to support with the development of Multiagency Contextual Safeguarding policies and practices as appropriate.

    Essential Experience Required:

    · A comprehensive knowledge of current legislation, policy and practice developments relating to safeguarding children and young adults from extra-familial/contextual harm.

    · Excellent knowledge of IT systems, including Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams.

    · Experience of coordinating and administrating projects particularly dealing with vulnerable groups.

    · Substantial experience of partnership working with stakeholders across voluntary, statutory, community and business sectors.

    · Substantial experience of working in the field of children's safeguarding.
