Description

This business is a progressively growing manufacturing business based in Burnley and they are currently onboarding a new large customer with a long-term contract which will see their turnover increase by 100%.

As such this is a new position to the Finance team, reporting directly into the Group FD and act as their number 2, supporting the team when required, whilst Business Partnering the main Engineering business within the Group.

They supply to multiple sectors and continue to diversify with a wide range of portfolio customers.

Whilst family owned, they are continuously reinvesting, their infrastructure and policies are adapting in order to represent the size of business they have grown too, but remain the 'family feel' and close knit team mentality.

This Business Partner job will Business Partner the main Engineering business whilst also supporting the Group FD with a level of technical analysis across various areas of the business.

The Group FD is ideally looking for someone who is dynamic and analytical, with Business Partnering experience in order to hit the ground running as a Finance Business Partner, but also technically able with month end and year end duties who can bridge the gap between herself and the rest of the team.

There will be no direct managerial responsibility for the team, but when the team require support the Group FD would like this appointment to be competently able and open to do so, whilst also supporting her with any ad hoc month end or yearend duties.

Therefore, the person needs to be driven and a self-starter, and a real team player. There are development opportunities for the successful candidate if desired and their future can be shaped by them.

Benefits include a comprehensive salary of between £55,000 and £60,000, enhanced holidays, negotiable working pattern, increased pension and hybrid.
