Job Title: Project Manager - Construction Infrastructure Projects

Location: South region - SP10 3NT (Andover)

Salary range: Competitive salary + Bonus + company vehicle + pension + life insurance

The Role:

We have a new opportunity for a Project Manager to work with our expanding Major Projects Portfolio. The successful candidate will join our Southern Project Management team and lead all construction phase activities, planning, managing, and evaluating projects throughout their life cycle.

The Person:

We need an individual who can manage projects from start to finish, preferably with experience in delivering similar Major Construction Infrastructure Projects. You should be able to lead and manage major projects, ensuring they are fully resourced and delivered safely, on time, and within budget to high-quality standards. We are looking for a proactive, creative, and logical individual with a solution-focused approach who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

High-Level Responsibilities:

Produce accurate work programs for client approval.
Plan, manage, and assess projects throughout their lifecycle.
Act as the main contact for Excalon clients on site.
Ensure all activities comply with statutory requirements.
Build a competent team to deliver projects, monitor progress, and ensure safe working conditions.
Identify project activity dependencies and define stages for seamless delivery.
Regularly monitor progress and take action to troubleshoot issues and maintain project timelines.
Ensure necessary documentation and safe systems of work are in place.
Ensure project personnel have the required training and competencies.

Ideal Skills and Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Project Manager for Infrastructure Projects
CSCS - Academically Qualified or Gold Card
SMSTS
IOSH Managing Safely
Temporary Works Supervisor
NRSWA: Streetworks Supervisor
Confined Spaces
Deep Excavation / Temporary Works Supervisor
Emergency First Aid
Proficient in Microsoft Office
