    Director – Data Strategy // CDO

    Global Management Consultancy

    £170k - £230k

    Hybrid – 3 days in London office

    Our client is a leading consulting firm specializing in transformational advisory services. With a global presence and a reputation for excellence, they partner with clients to solve complex business challenges and achieve sustainable growth.

    As the Director – Data Strategy, you will be at the forefront of developing and executing data-driven strategies that optimize business performance and enhance decision-making processes for a wide variety of end clients. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design over arching data strategies, value creation plans, outline architecture and capabilities which deliver exceptional commercial results.

    Your background may be as a Chief Data Officer, or Partner in Consulting, defining roadmaps and frameworks for data optimisation and monetisation, creating value from AI products and automation, as well as scoping longer term commercial goals.

    Naturally at this grade, you will employ and flex senior leadership qualities, working in harmony with clients to empathise, understand and dissect their challenges, as well as pull on your depth of expertise as to 'the art of what's (technically, and commercially) possible'.

    Culture is key - we are also looking for passionate, authentic, enthusiastic data science and AI practitioners, who can delight, impress and engage non-technical stakeholders, with their credibility, exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to deliver commercial results.

    Skills & experience required:

    • Educated to degree level in a quantitative subject; Machine Learning, Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Economics etc.
    • A senior leadership profile, with demonstrable experience in realising commercial value from data assets
    • Expert knowledge in data science and analytics, with the ability to work with technology and data experts to build out data teams and capabilities
    • Skilled in building and leveraging stakeholder relationships, in order to understand requirements and in turn build meaningful and impactful data science and AI solutions
    • Management consultancy experience is strongly preferred, although similar industry side, consultative experience will be considered
