Therole
Fugro areseeking a Site Investigations Operations manager within theFalmouth, Wallingford Consett hub, for the Land Team. The Land teamdeliver geo-technical ground investigation projects across the UKand Europe, within renewable and infrastructure industries. TheSite investigations Operations Manager is a key member of theoperations team. You will ensure best operation practices areimplemented within the Land Business during the design stage of aproject through to their successful execution in the field. Youwill focus on HSSE improvements and initiatives, and ensure UKremains the COE for producing drilling methodology technical andoperational guidance as well as equipment selection, upgrades andnew builds. The successful applicant will support the technical andcultural development of the field personnel to increase performanceand skills.
Whowe're looking for:
The Site Investigation Operations Manager willhave a proven successful operational experience within the drillingsector or similar. You will ensure field operations are carried outin compliance with the IMS (integrated management system) and Fugropolicies and procedures with specific Life Saving Rules andManagement in Charge. Showing leadership and take accountabilityfor Health and Safety within the operational delivery whethermanaging operations in the field or remotely. Implementing newinitiatives, methods or technologies to improve safety performance.You will continually drive and motivate staff on good safetypractice and attitude. Liaise with technical teams on projectsolutions and equipment integration as well as formulate projectexecution strategy. Managing and coordinate resource logistics formobilisations and field operations, carrying out site visits toensure Fugro stands are maintained on the drill rigs and projectsites.
