FINANCIAL CONTROLLER

Sensient Technologies has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Finance Controller in our Flavors division covering Savory performance in EMEA and general accounting France. The role will be located in Milton Keynes, UK, with several days of travel required monthly to Strasbourg France.

What you'll do:

Serve as a key member of the Finance Team reporting directly into the European Finance Director Flavors

Ensure and be responsible for accurate financial reporting for Savory performance (US GAAP) and statutory accounts (French GAAP).

Supervise the French payroll process, account's consolidation, Sensient France tax affairs and statutory returns.

Directly manage a team of two in France and work with a matrix set up of support from Shared Service AP/AR, Supply Chain Accounting and Management Accounting.

What you'll bring:

As a Senior Finance Individual with one of the following educational backgrounds: Bachelor's Degree with finance or accounting option. You can already demonstrate a solid track record in an equivalent Finance Controller role preferably in a manufacturing type company and ideally within an organization operating with international transactions.

An ACA qualification along with experience in public accounting. Accounting experience in Listed company is a plus.

Experience in import/export processes and intra company transactions is required.

Experience regarding the month-end close process, cost accounting and as a business unit controller in a manufacturing environment (preferred).

Ability to demonstrate high proficiency level in budgeting, forecasting, month-end reporting, and inventory valuation.

Fluency in French and knowledge of French tax system would be a strong advantage
