    Salary: £24,064 - £26,468
    Hours: 36 per week

    We have exciting and attractive opportunity for a proactive and positive individual has arisen to join the Councils Housing Concierge and Estates team Located in our multi storey blocks within the city's four localities.

    The Concierge and Estates team play a pivotal role in keeping high rise building clean and well looked after, using CCTV and communication systems to ensure tenants ares safe and secure, provide support to tenants on a varied number of issues and liaise with other key services.

    We are looking for people who can communicate effectively with the public and work with others in maintaining buildings. You need to be flexible and may be required to provide cover at other blocks or move between roles throughout the locality. The role involves daily aspects of physical activity and manual handling.

    Key duties of the post include:

    Work as part of a team to ensure there are high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in multi storey high rise blocks and surrounding neighbourhood areas and that the building and neighbourhood are clean, tidy and fire safe.

    Be proactive in dealing with cleaning and repairs issues and have an awareness of conditions for local people.

    Carry out a wide range of customer contact with tenants and liaison with colleagues across various services to assist residents and ensure the safety and security of the blocks.

    Where necessary, operate CCTV monitoring equipment and door entry and other IT systems.

    Work as part of a team taking responsibility for workload, assist in covering shifts when required.

    Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range.
