    Overview
    Weare looking for an experienced Data Architecture consultant to join our growingData Analytics & AI practice. This is a unique opportunity to join anexciting, growing team but with the backing of a much larger and moreestablished business. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range ofexciting and innovative projects, all whilst playing an integral role ingrowing our data practice.

    OurData Analytics & AI team really likes helping our clients solve theircomplex problems with data, by implementing controls and governance of data,creating actionable insights, embedding machine learning solutions or buildingdata platforms. We bring the right team and skills on the table and can offerdeep expertise across Data Strategy, Data Science & Engineering, DataVisualisation, Data Management, Data Architecture and Software Development.

    What will you be doing?

    Youwill be using your experience to help our clients solve their most importantdata challenges. You would be alsoresponsible to support the growth of our team, helping them to build the skillsthey need to solve our client's challenges. Depending on the level, you can bea part of our leadership team, shaping the direction of the practice, growingthe business, and leading our people. Typicalengagements include:
    -Defining and implementing on premise or cloud architectures, for example, a cloud data warehouse, data lake or a data platform to enable digital transformation.
    -Defining the architecture, schema, and data modelling approaches to ensure efficient data retrieval and analysis.
    -Designing data architectures to support Business Intelligence (BI) and reporting needs. Creating data models optimised for ad hoc querying and visualisation.
    -Building architectures for real-time data streaming and processing using technologies like Apache Kafka or Amazon Kinesis.
    -Assisting clients in migrating and consolidating data from legacy systems to modern platforms. Ensure data accuracy and integrity during the process.
    -Performing maturity assessments across clients' data capabilities and recommending improvements
    -Translating business requirements (both functional and non-functional) into solutions, ensuring compliance with the organisations strategy, policies, and standards and in some cases, help customers to define new policies, principles and standards.
    -Helping clients to identify risks and mitigations for their complex data programmes, as well as transition to modern cloud-based infrastructures (AWS, Azure, GCP) by leveraging related architecture patterns (e.g., APIs, events)
    -Working with clients in key areas of data governance, such as in defining principles including, but not limited to Master Data Management, Data Lineage and Data Security

I've also been deeply involved in creating agile andfuture-proof data architectures, including data lakes, warehouses, andreal-time pipelines. These architectures have empowered organisations toextract actionable insights from their data, facilitating data-drivendecision-making. A significant aspect of my role has been leading clientengagements, collaborating closely with diverse teams to align technologyinitiatives with strategic goals. I've taken pride in upskilling and supportingclient teams, recognising the importance of continuous learning in the dynamicworld of data and cloud technologies. Consulting across diverse industriesallows for the implementation of cutting-edge cloud solutions and advanced dataarchitectures, delivering increased innovation, efficiency, and competitivenessfor organisations in a constantly evolving technology landscape." – SumeetS., Senior Manager

Weare seeking cloud solution architects with growth mindset, who are excited byempowering decision making with cloud solutions leveraging data, and keen totake an active part in the growth of the company. We're looking for people whocan both advise our clients and, when needed, get hands on in technicaldelivery to bring a solution to life. Belowwe list some of the skills we are looking for. Of course, do not expect you tobe an expert in all areas and we understand that experiences vary based on thebackground and years of experience:

    Data Strategy & Planning:
    Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand business goals and requirements
    Define data strategies and roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
    Identify opportunities for data-driven solutions and improvements.

    Data Modelling & Design:
    Create and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
    Design databases, data warehouses and data lakes to meet scalability, performance, and reliability requirements, in line with client needs
    Ensure data models adhere to industry standards and best practices. Data Integration:
    Develop data integration strategies to consolidate data from various sources.
    Design data pipelines to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data into storage systems.
    Collaborate with ETL developers to implement data integration workflows. Cloud & Big Data:
    Design data solutions that leverage cloud (e.g., AWS, Azure) and big data technologies.
    Develop strategies for data storage, processing, and analysis in cloud environments.

    Data Architecture Governance:
    Establish and enforce data architecture principles, standards, and best practices.
    Participate in architecture reviews and ensure compliance with established guidelines. Data Architecture Documentation:
    Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of data architecture, including data flow diagrams, data dictionaries, and metadata definitions.
    Communicate architectural decisions and designs to technical & non-technical stakeholders

    Performance Optimisation:
    Identify and address performance bottlenecks in data processing and querying.
    Optimise database structures, indexes, and queries for improved efficiency.
    Implement caching and data partitioning strategies to enhance performance. Technology Evaluation & Selection:
    Research and evaluate new data management technologies, tools, and frameworks.
    Recommend technology stacks based on project requirements and industry trends. Problem Solving:
    Analyse complex data challenges and devise innovative solutions.
    Troubleshoot issues related to data architecture and recommend corrective actions.

    -Ability to own and run complex client engagements, interact with leaders across industry, work with senior stakeholders to help them understand and frame their problems, assess their current state, and make impactful recommendations which help shape their thinking.
    -Knowledge of different technology stacks including common legacy and modern data stacks
    -Well-versed with documentation and artefacts that need to go along with the architecture design and delivery work.
    -Be a 'lifelong learner' and can demonstrate a drive to always be learning and developing your skillsets. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to cloud computing, architecture, and data management.
