    This pivotal role is for a legal professional who is not only well-versed in the British common law system but also has a passion for the fast-paced world of technology.

    Your insights and expertise will be instrumental in steering the company through the complexities of compliance, risk management, and contract negotiation.


    Key Responsibilities:

    Deliver clear, pertinent legal advice on a spectrum of topics relevant to the tech industry, aiding in decision-making processes company wide.

    Draft, assess, and negotiate a wide array of commercial contracts, ensuring they align with Quintessential AI's objectives and compliance standards.

    Develop and refine company policies and protocols to manage and diminish legal risks effectively.
    Guarantee adherence to all applicable laws and regulations, safeguarding the company's integrity and interests.
    Champion and inculcate a culture of legal compliance, risk management, and ethical practice across the organisation.

    Serve as the primary liaison with external entities, including but not limited to legal service provider Gorrissens Federspiel, and manage these crucial relationships.

    Design and conduct comprehensive legal training for staff to promote legal literacy within the company.
    Remain abreast of legislative changes, particularly those impacting the tech sector, and adapt company policies to maintain compliance.
    Collaborate closely with senior management to advise on legal implications of internal strategies and decisions.

    ~ Law degree from an accredited law school.
    ~2-3 years of professional legal experience, preferably within the technology sector.
    ~ Membership of the local bar association or equivalent professional legal body.
    ~ Demonstrated experience in commercial law, with proficiency in drafting and negotiating contracts.
    ~ Strong understanding of the legal challenges faced by companies in the tech industry, including intellectual property, data privacy, and cyber law.
    ~ Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex legal jargon into understandable terms for all levels of staff.
    ~ Proven track record of proactive problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
