    Our operation in Daventry is looking for a Transport Operations Supervisor where you will contribute to the smooth, safe and efficient operational activities within the Transport Office to ensure we meet and exceed customer expectations.

    Reporting into the General Manager you will manage the day-to-day transport operation, driver management and fleet compliance and ensure service level agreements are maintained in line with contractual requirements.

    Manage all site employees including any subcontractors and agency staff, in line with current legislation, company policies and procedures.

    Provide and maintain efficient and effective support for the site as required, ensuring planning of orders is effective and efficient, managing all POD activity to demonstrate full audit trail.

    Ensure all traffic office functions are carried out in line with company policies and procedures.

    Ensure that all activities are undertaken in accordance with the current legislation, company policies and procedures and best practice.

    Fulfill customer requirements to the highest possible standards, working closely with the warehouse team to ensure a consistent service is delivered.

    Contribute effectively in a team environment, ensuring housekeeping standards are applied and adhered to in-line with SCA requirements
    This is a Monday to Friday role,10:00 -18:00.

    Our ideal candidate will have previous experience of working in a transport environment, along with knowledge of tachograph legislation and working time directive.

    You will be IT literate with the ability to use MS Office packages.
