Description
Woodland Global are currently recruiting a confident qualified / part qualified Reporting Accountant. The Reporting Accountant will report to the Group Management Accountant and form part of the Finance team.As part of this team, you will be supporting the smooth running of the financial reporting of the business with a particular emphasis on statutory accounting / audit and some ad-hoc management accounting tasks.
The position will require liaising with external and internal stakeholders of the Woodland companies.Woodland Group is more than just a logistics and supply chain company.

Investigate and resolve audit queries.Production of annual statutory accounts. Excel model and Word.
Reconciliation of statutory accounts to trial balance.
Prepare and produce tax packs.
Support of Group level accounting.
Month end close support to include accruals, prepayments and bank statement reconciliation.
Work with the Finance team to continually improve processes and business performance;
Go to person for audit and statutory account and tax queries;
Understanding and adhering to all Woodland policies and procedures relevant to the role.
Timely and accurate balance sheet reconciliations.
ACCA / ACA / CIMA finalist or qualified.
Advanced Excel.
Experience of Producing Statutory accounts.
Previous experience of systems implementation is advantageous.
An in-depth knowledge of Systems / SQL database.
