    The Firm

    We are a working with a forward-thinking Tech Venture Capital Fund committed to backing businesses that positively impact society. As they continue to expand their investment portfolio in Europe and the US, we are seeking a dynamic and talented Investment Associate to join the team.

    This position offers a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of impact investing, identifying and supporting early-stage startups with the potential to make significant social and environmental impact while delivering strong returns.

    The Role

    Deal Sourcing and Screening:

    • Proactively source and evaluate investment opportunities.
    • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, disruptive technologies, and promising startups.

    Due Diligence:

    • Lead due diligence processes for prospective investments, including financial, technical, market, and environmental impact analysis.
    • Collaborate with the investment team to assess the viability, risks, and growth potential of target companies.
    • Prepare comprehensive investment memos and presentations for review by the investment committee.

    Portfolio Management:

    • Support portfolio companies post-investment, providing strategic guidance, and facilitating access to resources, networks, and expertise.
    • Monitor and track the performance of existing investments, identifying opportunities for value creation and risk mitigation.

    Relationship Building:

    • Cultivate and maintain relationships with entrepreneurs, industry experts, co-investors, and strategic partners across the impact ecosystem.
    • Represent the fund at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand the firm's presence and identify potential investment opportunities.

    Candidate Profile:

    • 2+ years of experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, management consulting, or related fields.
    • Clear passion for impact investing.
    • Ability to build rapport with entrepreneurs, investors, and stakeholders.
    • Entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and contribute to a collaborative team culture.
    • Demonstrated track record of sourcing and executing successful investments is a plus.
    • Knowledge of impact investing principles and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) criteria is desirable.
