    Description

    Restructuring & Recoveries Director - Development Finance

    My client specialises in Real Estate lending. They are recruiting for an experienced Restructuring & Recoveries Director to join the Credit Risk team.

    Overview

    A client-facing restructuring and recoveries role to support the existing team in order to manage challenging development finance loan workout situations.

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for managing the intensive care cases, knowing what it going on at all times.
    • Regular contact with clients in or potentially likely to fall into default.
    • Liaise directly with third party stakeholders such as lawyers, insolvency professionals, surveyors, agents and borrowers.
    • Lead asset strategies, disposals and enforcement processes where required.
    • Preparation of strategic proposals to credit committee.
    • Complete and provide credit reporting across portfolio.
    • Working closely with credit risk and project monitoring teams in respect of loan documentation and receipts/drawdowns.

    What you will Bring

    • Previous experience working within a bank or non-bank property lender, with specific experience of development finance loans.
    • Legal knowledge and experience.
    • Strong communication/interpersonal skills with the ability to work in challenging environments/situations.
    • Report writing skills.
    • Analytic skills and cash flow modelling experience.
    • Understanding of property and lending principles.
    • Strong IT skills (Word and Excel).

    Salary: up to £140k (depending on experience)

    Location: London 4 days a week (1 day working from home)
