L3Harris in Tewkesbury forms part of our ICI division, we work closely with UK Government and Security Agencies primarily in the areas of crypto/cyber security, electronic warfare, counter drone capabilities and situation awareness projects.
This role involves collaborating closely with a project management team to lead a program focused on rapidly delivering customised engineering solutions within the defence sector.
The successful candidate will demonstrate agility and efficiency across a diverse range of projects, from smaller tasks to more complex initiatives, while also taking a leadership role in engineering contributions to drive successful project outcomes.
3,000 to £6,000 DV Bonus – please note this level of clearance isn't essential for this role. Experienced senior-level engineer or scientist, degree qualified in Electronics, Communications, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Mathematics or similar.
Experience leading and delivering projects and products.
An enthusiasm for working with new emerging technologies, sometimes outside of their immediate skill set, to solve a wide range of challenges using creative and innovative solutions.
The ability to independently perform research and exploratory tasks using publicly available software and information sources.RF design, analysis or modelling
