Senior Case Officer - Appointeeship & Deputyship
An exciting opportunity has arisen for us to appoint a new Senior Case Officer to oversee the day-to-day running of the team.
The Appointeeship & Deputyship team provide a money management service for Adult Social Care service users in Leicestershire who lack mental capacity to manage their own affairs independently.
Supervise the day-to-day operation of the Appointeeship & Deputyship team and provide guidance on operational matters, including recruitment, deployment, development, supervision, attendance, and conduct.
Effectively monitor performance to ensure compliance with agreed targets/standards, statutory requirements, policies, and key performance indicators.Identifying and implementing policy and/or process changes.
Dealing directly with vulnerable adults, their advocates, and the public.
Extensive, up to date knowledge of current legislation in relation to Appointeeship & Deputyship and associated guidance, and its application in established policy and practice.
The ability to effectively communicate in writing and converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English.
