    Duties and Responsibilities

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop new product concepts, conduct competitive analysis, and define ingredient strategies.
    • Source innovative raw materials aligned with brand values and global market trends.
    • Coordinate with suppliers on specifications and pricing, ensuring quality control throughout the product development process.
    • Select appropriate packaging components that resonate with the brand identity.
    • Stay updated on international market trends, formulation variations, and product formats.
    • Lead product development projects, overseeing technical aspects and managing timelines.
    • Engage with chemists and test houses for new formulation testing.
    • Monitor development costs and maintain budget adherence.
    • Manage product setup on internal systems and communicate product benefits to stakeholders.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and documentation, including UK & EU Cosmetic Regulations.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project execution.
    • Work with Marketing, Creative, and Packaging teams for product development.
    • Coordinate regulatory documentation with the Technical Information Manager.
    • Support trade marketing briefs and product maintenance projects.
    • Report to the VP of Product Development & Innovation.

    Essential Skills and Qualifications:

    • Passion for skincare industry.
    • Numerical and analytical skills.
    • Results-driven with a strong focus on quality.
    • Proficiency in EU and International Cosmetics Regulations.
    • Excellent project management abilities.
    • Prior experience in skincare product development.

    Qualifications:

    • University degree.
    • Minimum of 5 years in skincare product development.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Powerpoint, ideally Asana.
