    Description
    Knauf UK & Ireland are a market-leading manufacturer of lightweight building materials for the construction industry. We are part of the Knauf Group, the world's largest producer of gypsum-based products for the construction industry.

    We are currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager to join our Exteriors team, the location of this role extends across the home counties and London.

    You are responsible for the promotion, specification and sales.

    You will work as part of the wider Business Development team to maintain & develop both existing customers and markets as well exploring new sectors, customers and solution offerings.

    As part of the wider Business Development team you will also support, the new markets sales function, in delivering valuable market & customer insights.

    You will champion CRM as a customer management tool, tracking specified projects, completing quotations and updating customer information where required.

    You will be the 'face of' Knauf to customers and will work in partnership across multiple stakeholders including Architects, Main & Sub-contractors & distributors.

    Strong Business Development or technical sales background
    Ability to establish and maintain quality relationships with Architects, main contractors, manufacturers, sub-contractors and specifiers
    Excellent communication and ability to influence across all levels CRM Champion: promote the value of customer relationship management tool
    Experience using a CRM system, raising quotations and inputting sales data on a regular basis
