    Automation Capability Specialist - Job Description

Do you enjoy providing customers thought leadership around automation, supporting major operational initiatives, guide transformations or filling critical gaps at the level of CTO, CIO, CISO and head of operations.

    The Automation Capability Specialist within our Agile Operations Division (AOD) are Broadcom's most experienced Automation subject matter experts (SME's) who provide thought leadership and hands-on technical expertise to our most important customers.

    Automation Capability Specialist are the Trusted Advisor that our customers depend on for strategy, product insight, technical architecture, supporting evaluations of our solutions and use cases when needed.

    This position will work with the Automation family of Broadcom Software, primarily with Autosys Workload Automation & Automation Analytics and Intelligence (AAI) .

    Experience with public cloud platforms such as Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), as well as DevOps toolchains are key to helping unlock the power of Autosys & AAI to bridge their on premise and cloud workloads.

    IT architecture experience, and experience managing a workgroup that packages automation as services to the rest of the business are also desired.

    As an Automation Capability Specialist you'll be responsible for working with our Broadcom AOD territory teams in support of our strategic and tactical engagements with large enterprise customers helping to build and grow value with our enterprise portfolio of Automation solutions including:

    Supporting and contributing to customer adoption through Executive Data Reviews, Current State Reviews & Health Checks or Proof of Concepts/Evaluations, & Health-Checks.

    Automation Capability Specialist lead our Automation Communities of Practice to ensure our internal technical field teams have, the right skills, training and technical assets in support of continued adoption and value realization to our fortune 2000 customer base.

    Automation Capability Specialist are continually learning - maintaining ongoing awareness of new Broadcom solution functionality and overall IT domain knowledge, and disseminating that knowledge to their customers and teams.

    Maintain understanding of the Agile Operations Divisions (AOD) capabilities across the entire automation value stream. Create and troubleshoot Technical and Business Process issues, including root-cause analysis
    Automating workloads across public, private and hybrid cloud environments

    Have a bachelor's and 12+ years of related experience or master's degree and 10+ years of experience in a technology or business related discipline.

    Strong background with Broadcom Software's Automation solutions including Automic Automation, Automation Analytics & Intelligence (AAI), AutoSys and ESP d-series or related competitive solution.

    Skills necessary to shift customer from relationship to partnership
    Ability to understand customer business problems and clearly formulate and articulate software solutions to solve those problems.
    Strong presentation skills, including software demonstration skills.
