- To identify and establish new business through lead generation and prospecting.
- To generate new customer acquisition in industry sectors including medical device, precision engineering, automotive, defence, electronics amongst others.
- To gain a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements.
- To develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients, through managing and interpreting their requirements.
- To work closely with our Applications team to deliver first class inspection and measurement solutions.
- To perform on-site demonstrations and technical presentations
- To prepare proposals, quotations and administer client accounts
- To work on after sales support services and provide technical back-up as required
- To prepare reports and keep customer records through our CRM software.
- To meet regular sales targets and co-ordinate sales projects
- To support customers to deliver world class product support in tandem with the Ash applications support team.
- To help set up, coordinate, and attend key national tradeshows and generate new leads and sales opportunities.
- To collaborate closely with other company departments to deliver market feedback, channel partner support and customer satisfaction.
- To participate in the company innovation programme by providing customer and market feedback on end-user requirements, market trends and potential opportunities.
- To deliver KPIs and quarterly sales growth targets.
- To present regular progress reports and updates to the management team.
- 2+ years previous sales experience with a proven track record in a sales position
- Third level qualification would be an advantage
- A highly motivated, enthusiastic professional with a strong desire to contribute to company growth.
- An excellent communicator with the ability to work closely with the management team and regularly communicate and report activities.
- Possesses practical knowledge in process, business, and commercial areas.
- An organised and dependable person, with an ability to work on their own initiative, as well as part of the wider team, to achieve personal and company targets and KPIs.
- Displays good knowledge and capability with digital marketing platforms.
- Good influencing and presentation skills.

Based in the Company offices in East Haddon in the UK, this role is an exciting opportunity for a salesperson with a number of years' experience in a similar role in an industrial related environment.
The successful candidate must have strong organisational skills, be an effective communicator with a high standard of written English and have strong presentation skills. Contributing to a creative and innovative environment, the successful candidate will be instrumental in the overall development and growth of the organisation.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the successful candidate will be responsible for the development, implementation, and growth of new and existing business opportunities in the UK.
The successful candidate must be available to work at the company premises in East Haddon, North Hampton so must be within a commutable distance to the office. This is not a hybrid working role.
