    Our client is in need of a skilled Marketing and Communications Manager who can lead the charge in boosting growth and improving the company's reputation through strategic marketing campaigns and effective communication plans. The main focus will be on generating leads, attracting new members, retaining current ones, and engaging with the community to build lasting relationships.

    Collaborating closely with department heads and team members, you will be responsible for promoting services and facilities efficiently. The ultimate aim is to establish the business as the top choice for health and fitness, motivating individuals to kickstart their wellness journeys.

    As a key part of the senior leadership team, this role plays a vital role in enhancing communication strategies and solidifying brand recognition, with specific emphasis on membership growth and community interest.

    Day to Day Responsibilities

    In this role, you will be supporting various business aspects spanning People, Members, Operations, and Finance.

    Every day will bring new challenges as you collaborate with the Digital Engagement Lead, Sales, and IT teams on communication and marketing strategies for the member journey. Expect to work closely with internal teams to gather engaging content, including member testimonials, success stories, and details on upcoming events.

    From managing communication and marketing campaigns to participating in community outreach programs and exploring sponsorship opportunities, this role offers a diverse range of tasks.

    Member engagement holds significant importance, so understanding the audience and tailoring communication strategies effectively for both new and existing members will be critical.

    Digital marketing plays a substantial role, involving tasks across social media, email campaigns, digital advertising (including PPC), SEO, and content creation. Traditional methods like print media and events also remain relevant.

    As a commercially aware individual, you should have a track record of contributing to business profitability. Ideally, you possess experience in the following areas:

    • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field. Alternatively, hands-on experience in digital marketing, website management, SEO, or similar.
    • Experience in team management and fostering team growth.
    • Solid grasp of digital marketing strategies, tools, and best practices.
    • Proficiency in social media management, CMS platforms, and email marketing tools.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for creating engaging digital content.
    • Analytical mindset to interpret data, assess performance metrics, and enhance digital initiatives.
    • Creative thinking abilities to develop innovative digital engagement strategies.
    • Effective project management skills, capable of multitasking and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
    • Experience in overseeing third-party software and integrations.
    • Exceptional attention to detail.
    • Strong influencing and interpersonal skills, with a focus on internal collaboration.
