Description
Oxford Population Health (Nuffield Department of Population Health) contains world-renowned population health research groups and provides an excellent environment for multi-disciplinary research and teaching.
We are seeking to recruit a statistical researcher to provide statistical and epidemiological leadership for the team studying the Benefits and Risks of Cancer Treatments.
The post-holder will play a key role in developing the strategic direction of future research carried out by the team and in securing funding for it and direction for the work of the team.
The successful candidate will work as part of a team that includes statisticians, epidemiologists, oncologists, a surgeon, a radiotherapy physicist, and DPhil students.
To be considered you will hold a PhD in statistics or a closely related field.
You will have experience of managing research projects and staff, with an established international publication record, and success in leading research grants.
Strong programming skills in a statistical language, such as R, Stata, Python or C/C++, etc are essential for this post.
