    RESPONSIBILITIES


    Working as a Supply Chain Order and Transport Management Administrator at BASF Bradford, you will be responsible for all deliveries to customers. This includes working closely with Customer Services, Sales, Product Management, Demand Planning, Production, Warehouse, Quality, Export, Hauliers and Inbound. Your main responsibilities will include:

    • Order Processing by validation of sales orders and allocation of inventory confirming customer orders and creating deliveries in a timely manner.
    • Proactive contribution to the development and maintenance on customer satisfaction (speed, flexibility and reliability) and logistical efficiency throughout the order to cash process.
    • Monitor and coordinate changes of delivery, production and volume plans, communicating on a daily basis.
    • Managing transport by booking transport orders, checking invoices and handling customer complaints related to order and transport management and reverse logistics.
    • Monitor and evaluate service providers' performance in terms of quality, reliability and feedback rate through regular contact and supplier reviews.
    • Focus and coordinate on execution in speed, flexibility and reliability in cooperation with various international BASF functions and external logistical service providers.
    • Work in accordance with the legal & BASF guidelines and procedures, regarding Health, Safety & Environment, energy and sustainable development of the organisation.
    • Working as part of small team providing cover during team absences.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Educated to A level standard or equivalent and have experience of working in Supply Chain.
    • A supply chain management qualification would be desirable (APICS CPIM or similar).
    • You have strong IT skills, with the ability to work with MS Office packages, especially SAP.
    • You have excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills, with strong problem-solving capabilities. Be a team player with the ability to influence all levels, internally and externally. Be self-driven with the ability to work to targets.
