    Job Title:
    Interim Data & Reporting Lead - Contract role for 6 months

    Department:
    Data & Analytics
    Shift Timings - UK / US

    Reporting to:
    Global Head of Data & Analytics

    Principal Contacts:
    Data & Analytics team, Outsource providers, IT, Finance, Operations

    Overall Responsibility:

    To be the lead contact for all senior stakeholders, for anything relating to Data & Analytics, supporting the Global Data & Analytics team and ensuring successful delivery to our customers.


    Specific Duties & Responsibilities:

    • To support the team on a daily basis for any issues/blockers/escalations
    • To represent the team at senior meetings, reporting to senior/exec leadership
    • Stakeholder management and engagement
    • To support the Data Delivery lead manage the team and any issues, as and when they arise
    • To support prioritisation of tasks and workloads
    • Ensure best practice is being followed and adhered to at all times
    • The representative for Data & analytics at any project or initiative

    Key Performance Indicators:

    • To escalate issues to the relevant stakeholders in a timely manner
    • To provide support to the Data & Analytics team to ensure successful delivery during sprints.
    • Ensuring successful delivery through a prioritise approach
    • Managing a global team and therefore needing to be mindful of all time zones
    Qualifications, experience & type of individual required:


    Essential:

    • Knowledge and experience of the Insurance Industry with a good understanding of the full Insurance lifecycle
    • Agile experience JIRA or similar tools is an advantage but not essential
    • Excellent communication skills, for all levels, especially senior execs
    • Experience of managing global teams and working across multiple time zones
    • At least 5 years of managing a data team in Insurance or Financial services
    • Has the ability to have technical discussion as well as discussing technical issues with non-technical expertsRole:
