- Managing the month-end close process including review and approval of the journal entries in a timely manner.
- Oversight of the accounts payable function including processing payments, approval of the related journal entries in the accounting system.
- Working closely with Treasury for hedge accounting assessment and accordingly updating hedge accounting workings.
- Producing/reviewing monthly balance sheet and income statement General Ledger code reconciliations.
- Preparation of month-end Flash report and management accounts.
- Forecasting the financial results on a monthly basis;
- Oversight and improvement of internal controls across Financial Control and Reporting function;
- Develop and regularly update the Finance department policies and process notes;
- Preparation of annual financial statements and liaising with the external auditors, and providing relevant information to ensure their queries are dealt with in a timely manner.
- Reviewing the daily product control reports.
- Assists Head of Finance in budget and forecast reports, and related ad hoc requests.
- Project management (macro fair value hedging implementation).
- Support product control reporting re-design.
- Assist with the implementation of any new systems.
