    We are now recruiting for a Senior Learning & Development Manager join our Talent and People team supporting our network of UK-based creative and medcomms agencies.

    This is a hybrid role supporting two office locations based in Thames Ditton and Kings Cross.

    The role

    To support the development and implementation of the Havas Health & You's People Development strategy ensuring that it aligns with the respective agency's vision, culture, it's current and long-term business objectives.

    To ensure a proactive and strategic approach in driving People development initiatives including delivery of development programmes that foster a healthy employee group to positively impact retention of the best talent to support businesses success.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement plans for learning and people development, including identifying learning needs and developing training programs to address them.
    • Responsible for the development of training/learning materials and provision of learning/training services to employees to ensure they can meet expectations
    • Develop and maintain a framework to allow for a strategic approach to learning through a platform (Havas University) to ensure equality and equity of access for all.
    • Develop and run appropriate workshops and learning within the area of expertise that relates to achieving effective and successful people management
    • Ensures that there is continuous development and promotion of learning opportunities allowing individuals to see a clear development pathway
    • To support the development and content creation of appropriate programmes that facilitate the development of our current and next-generation of leaders
    • Use appropriate tools, systems, and models to support the creation of content that addresses learning needs across the network
    • Ensure wider Network initiatives for L&D are cascaded across the agency network and managed effectively to ensure we meet any outlined KPI's
    • Proactive collaboration with Agency Learning/People Development Ambassadors, support facilitation of their respective plans, and ensuring a cohesive communication channel that allows for the appropriate alignment of agency initiatives.
    • Support the Leadership teams in the development, design, delivery, and evaluation of high-impact learning interventions.
    • Supporting the wider T&P team in the further development of the Early Careers Programme
    • Working alongside the People Team Leads to create and manage a sustainable plan that links roles and responsibilities, People development, learning, performance appraisals, and reward.
    • Provide direction and support to agency people Development Ambassador/working groups to ensure each agency's people development plan is managed collaboratively with the BU's
    • Support in the development and implementation of individuals identified in succession plans for key positions, including identifying future leaders and the creation of their development plans.
    • Embraces, and supports change through the provision of effective initiatives.
    • Understand and address reactions to change by coaching and effectively communicating and promoting the benefits of change.
    • Support the Senior People Business Partner in the delivery of the Talent Development and Management (TDM) strategy for the agency network by working directly with People Teams and Senior Leadership teams to create, drive, and implement people and engagement initiatives that add value to the employee journey and feed into business objectives.
    • Support change management through a collaborative style and is seen as an influencer of change supporting the aspect of people development within agency talent plans
    • Support our approach to employee engagement that allows for short-term operational drivers that feed into the overall strategy
    • Develop an understanding of the employee lifecycle and any People interventions to support the delivery of required learning at the right points in the employee journey.
    • Support the creation of operational People plans to identify the relevant resources, structure, and infrastructure to support the efficient execution of such plans in line with organisational strategy.
    • Overall responsibility for ensuring the accuracy of L&D data within HRIS in line with Data Protection / GDPR
    • Work in collaboration with the team at Havas University to ensure we make the best use of this platform and look at continuous development to ensure talent have a user-friendly experience and as a company, we gain a value add.
    • Manage the learning section on the agency's Intranet / SharePoint to ensure all pages are updated with current and relevant material.
    • Through the use of a variety of people metrics, ensure the People Team has fact-based knowledge to be able to act as change agents within the business.

    The person

    • Demonstratable knowledge of the systematic approach to learning
    • Accredited/Trained level for the use of one or more Psychometric/Personality Profiles to deliver feedback of reports
    • Previous experience working for a creative agency or medcomms agency advantage
