    Facilities Management Officer - Glasgow, United Kingdom - Recruitment Bunker

    Description

    The HSEQ Officer will coach, guide, advise and where necessary and instruct company employees including management on all HSEQ matters to ensure adherence to legalisation, industry & client standards, and company policies.

    Holidays - 30 Days with option to buy additional 5

    Carry out risk assessments and consider how risks could be reduced

    • Carry out regular site inspections to check policies and procedures are being properly implemented and adhered too
    • Prepare health and safety strategies and develop internal policies relevant to the business
    • Lead in-house training with managers and employees about all QHSE matters and risks
    * asbestos (COSHH)
    * fire regulations, hazardous substances, noise, safeguarding machinery, and occupational diseases.
    NEBOSH General or NEBOSH Construction certificate or equivalent

    • Demonstrate a passion for Health, Safety, Environment & Quality with robust knowledge and understanding of these subjects
    • Able to work as a member of a team, but also capable of working alone to tight deadlines as appropriate, setting own high-quality standards
    • Proficient with MS Office - Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
    • Full UK Driving licence
    • A strong working knowledge of Risk assessments, COSHH, RIDDOR, and Display Screen Equipment
    • Auditor training/experience
