    Overview

    The ISS Investment Stewardship Solutions team is developing cutting edge solutions for the responsible investment market based on high-quality ESG research, data and analysis. Our team is further expanding and looking to recruit an ESG Product Manager for our Regulatory Solutions. You will lead a small team and manage the life cycle of selected ISS ESG products, including EU Taxonomy and Sustainable Finance Disclosure.

    Job Responsibilities

  • Manage the development and implementation of the Regulatory Solutions Product Development and help translate it in effective operational processes and working solutions;
  • Demonstrate expertise and understanding in Global ESG regulation and be able to translate this to research and development requirements.;
  • Track developments in sustainable environmental and social activities, including current and emerging thematic trends, drivers, key players, best practices, the regulatory landscape, etc.;
  • Develop deep understanding of the EU Taxonomy regulation and the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation Principle Adverse Impact (SFDR PAI) regulation;
  • Work closely with Marketing client-facing teams on company communication and training on Regulatory Solutions;
  • Perform business and user testing on solutions as they are developed, and work with development on troubleshooting;
  • Work directly with end user clients including preparing and giving presentations;
  • Provide Regulatory insights, supporting the development of Thought Leadership pieces or other material that can be published by ISS ESG;

    • Qualifications

  • 5+ years of related work experience (product management, research and/or consulting);
  • Strong knowledge of international and regional standards, taxonomies and regulatory initiatives relevant to sustainable finance including EU Taxonomy/SFDR
  • Degree(s) in related discipline (business, sustainability and/or law);
  • Strong oral and written communication in English
  • Strong analytical skills, analytical entrepreneurialism and critical thinking are key;
  • Client-centric and commercially minded approach;
  • Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn in a constantly evolving and fast-paced environment;
  • Accuracy and attention to detail;
  • Passion for sustainability and demonstrated interest in sustainable finance;
  • Team based approach and aligned with ISS ESG mission, vision and values;
  • Client-first focus.

    • Nice to have

  • Fluency in French or German ​
  • Technical expertise related to energy, carbon and/or industrial processes
  • Climate related knowledge/background
