- Proven experience in a senior HR or organisational development role, preferably within the education sector.

About the role
Are you a strategic leader passionate about enabling inclusive, high-performing environments? Do you excel at driving organisational success through innovative HR practices and development initiatives? As the Director of People and Organisational Development, you will be part of our strategic leadership team, driving the alignment of our people strategies with our institutional goals. You will oversee HR, organisational development, payroll, and equity and inclusion functions, ensuring that we attract, retain, and develop top talent. This is your opportunity to make a significant impact on our college's culture and effectiveness.

There are a wide range of training and continued development opportunities available to staff. These include in-house sessions on coaching and mentoring, the opportunity to attend workshops and seminars, staff development days, as well as funding available towards relevant qualifications. HSDC also offers opportunities for funded research and cross-college projects, with some research bids involving international travel to speak at conferences.
Staff are also able to contribute to a charity through the Give As You Earn (GAYE) scheme.
