    ROLE SUMMARY
    This Planning Director role will be on our newest client, Carlsberg Marstons Brewing Company (CMBC) and BMW. A fantastic combination of brands.

    This critical role will be the day-to-day account & communications planning lead, managing the end-to-end campaign process for CMBC's premium portfolio of brands in the UK (1664 & San Miguel) and BMW ensuring we deliver excellence in everything we do for them.

    For CMBC, this role will work alongside two other Planning Directors who will look after the Carlsberg & Poretti brands, and Brooklyn, Wainwright & Hobgoblin brands, respectively.

    For BMW you will work alongside one other planning director on BMW and the portfolio of model families is split between you.

    Through developing a deep understanding of the CMBC & BMW businesses & brands, lead the communications planning and day to day management of the brands.

    Responsible for championing iProspect's experimentation agenda and using our Intersections Planning process to deliver effective & forward-looking communications plans alongside outstanding client service, this is a critical role in delivering on our client's expectations

    Ensure we deliver excellence in all aspects of the end-to-end campaign process, working closely with strategists and teams across all specialist channels so that all work we deliver for CMBC & BMW is of the highest standard and that is upheld throughout the team.

    Be a role model for collaboration, showing that radical collaboration leads to better work, working with teams across all specialist areas to develop pioneering solutions that help accelerate BMW & CMBC's business.

    Operational and financial accuracy are critical to this role in terms of ensuring our clients budgets and plans are well managed and that we have POs and bill on time.

    Directly manage the planning team members below you (planning manager & executive) and take responsibility & care for their career development

    They must be curious and passionate about the clients' businesses they work on, showing clear knowledge for the categories they operate in and challenges they face.

    They must possess a desire to always be looking for a better more effective way and a willingness & bravery to try something new, experimenting & innovating to drive greater future success for our clients and ourselves
    They should be great at building strong and lasting relationship with clients fostering trust and partnership.

    The right person should also be comfortable presenting to clients and be fluent when presenting or speaking to groups internally and externally.

    A strong, personable & respectful collaborator, they should be great at working with others in iProspect and across the dentsu network to develop brilliant client solutions together.

    They should be commercially savvy understanding how to meet both the needs of the client and organization, as well as good with numbers to be able to manage our clients budgets and plans.

    They should be tenacious and driven to pursue excellence in everything they do.

    They should display a determination to deliver their best work and should be keen to develop themselves and their skills.

    For the CMBC client account, we want someone who embodies the team values of - honesty, collaboration, pragmatic, social, agile, and progressive.

    We want to create a team of fun, humble and practical people, who will challenge the status quo in order to launch some great campaigns together that deliver real business impact, over a beer.

    The Planning Director needs to have a good understanding of media and advertising.
