    In this role, you'll be working closely with the Senior Group Procurement Manager on all aspects of the procurement life cycle and leading on Property & Facilities sub-categories.

    The role necessitates collaborative working across the Procurement and Facilities teams to ensure all third-party engagements enhance commercial and operational value to the business and its clients.

    The role is responsible for negotiating commercial deals with suppliers with the aim to reduce cost and improve service delivery.

    The ideal candidate will have experience of working within a fast-paced, dynamic procurement team and with a can-do attitude to see things through to completion.

    Actively manage supplier risk and performance to ensure continuity. Acting as the first point of contact for property and facilities procurement queries and providing procurement advice
    Ensuring companywide procurement requirements and contract management solutions for allocated categories are managed effectively.
    Support the Senior Group Procurement Manager in high-value and complex projects.
    Deputise for the Senior Group Procurement Manager, as necessary, in relevant meetings and working groups.
    Work collaboratively with the Facilities Business Manager to identify savings.
    Manage your Procurement Pipeline and Tracker to see projects through to completion.
    Manage contract repository.
    Conduct commercial and contract negotiations and implement appropriate tactics to achieve favorable outcomes.
    Owning the cradle-to-grave procurement process including ITT/RFPs, RFIs, RFQs
    Ensuring all procurement activities undertaken are aligned with internal Procurement Policy & Procedures

    Build strong relationships and collaborate with other teams such as Legal, Data Protection and Information Security to address and mitigate third-party risks.

    Ensure all contracts meet Group policy, regulatory and industry standards.
    Proven experience within indirect procurement
    Experience in end-to-end strategic procurement, specifically property and facilities categories, with exposure to other specialist categories such as IT and Marketing
    Strong knowledge of property lease and facilities contracts as well as re-location projects
    Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, ideally having come from a Financial Services background, however other background will also be considered
    Strong Commercial Negotiation skills
    Sound understanding of Procurement category management
    Able to create appropriate commercial models to suit requirements in the category
    Strong knowledge of Microsoft MS Excel and other MS Office applications
    Commercial awareness and acute business acumen are essential
    Ability to analyse data to inform effective decision making
    Have a dynamic approach to your work, being flexible, professional, and diligent under pressure
