    Operations Specialist

    The main aspects of the role will be to support both existing Operational Processes and Bank Integration activities. Some key attributes are accuracy, ability to work under pressure and delivery of projects, business initiatives, and tasks on time.

    Complex processing abilities will be required which includes Asset Servicing voluntary election process, Asset Reconciliation, Projects, and Regulatory Submissions (MIFID II Transaction Reporting/PTT, EMIR, SFTR, CMAR and related Cass Governance) are the specific focus areas of the local Ops team. Knowledge of the UK, European and US market along with an understanding of Hedge Funds is desirable.

    Daily Tasks:

    • SME support to colleagues locally and in outsourced locations ensuring processes and control steps are adhered to in a timely manner.
    • Understanding benchmarks KPI/KRI that are in place and performing daily/weekly checks to monitor performance, highlighting red flags as appropriate.
    • Performing post trade control checks, reconciliation, and validation.
    • Data extract and presentation of security position analysis.

    Work experience/background:

    • Operations processing experience a pre-requisite with an understanding of Settlements, Asset Transfers or post trade reporting

    Desirable:

    • Desirable to have data analytics experience
    • Knowledge of Euro/US markets and Hedge Funds

    Techinical/business skills & knowledge:

    • Excel
    • Word
    • Powerpoint

    • Ability to achieve results under tight deadlines and drive process forward to a conclusion.
