    Exciting Opportunity: Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor Role in Ashton

    Role Overview: We are currently seeking a Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor for our client's Ashton site. This pivotal role involves overseeing daily warehousing activities to maintain high standards in production, quality, and safety while meeting customer demands efficiently.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Supervise warehouse operations and a dozen or so team members.
    • Manage inventory control, quality assurance, and safety standards.
    • Coordinate workflow, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely deliveries.
    • Oversee inbound/outbound logistics for accuracy and efficiency.
    • Maintain equipment and machinery to optimize performance.
    • Monitor inventory levels, conduct audits, and optimize stock levels.
    • Implement operational policies, ensure compliance, and drive improvements.
    • Train and evaluate team members, resolve conflicts, and maintain a safe workplace.

    Required Skills:

    • Previous experience in warehouse supervision or similar roles.
    • Leadership, communication, example setting
    • Knowledge of import/export processes and warehouse operations.
    • Ideally, knowledge of using SAP warehousing systems (or similar WMS)
    • Familiarity with health and safety regulations and equipment operation.
    • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
