    We are looking for atalented individual with a background in Software Development tojoin our experienced operations team of Innovation FundingExperts.

    This opportunity would ideally suitsomeone who has a 3+ year background in Software Development,looking for a new opportunity or a change of focus. The opportunitywill enable you to use your technical knowledge and experience in acreative way across many sectors. This role will require you towork within a team-based consultancyenvironment.

    It will also require you to havestrong technical report writing skills, interpersonal andcommunication skills, project management skills and clientrelationship-building abilities. Business travel will also berequired to some extent.

    MainDuties and Responsibilities

    Therole will involve writing of R&D project descriptions forsoftware companies for R&D tax credit claims for submissionto HMRC. You will obtain the necessary information in discussionswith our clients' within the software industry. You will also berequired to gather relevant background details to complementtechnical reports.

    Full training will be providedon joining the company and initially you will be work closely withour Software team:

    • Meet with clientsto gather business and project information (this can be eitherremotely or face to face).
    • Develop a strongunderstanding of government guidelines / legislation and Revenueguidance in regard to R&D activity, and critically assessclient projects.
    • Produce technical andfinancial documentation to accurately and concisely support theR&D Tax Relief claim, ensuring claims are concluded in atimely manner.
    • Review and interpret theorganisation's financial accounts, with support from our Financedepartment.
    • Engage with HMRC and prepareadditional financial and technical documentation as required, if anenquiry is raised on a claim submitted.
    • Maintain regular and effective communications with clientpersonnel during the claim process, and ensure clients arecommunicated with outside the claim period for improved workingrelations.
    • Completion of internal system onclient activity.
    • Participation in theon-boarding process, i.e., screening of prospects, utilisingknowledge and experience to inform likelihood of aclaim.

    EssentialCriteria

    • 3+ yearsSoftware Industry Experience
    • Applicants musthave previous experience dealing with clients
    • Proven experience of report writing skills
    • Educated to a degree level
    • Strongattention to detail
    • Adept at using MicrosoftOffice packages
