    Business Development Manager
    • Location: Ipswich Or Remote

    We are looking for a proactive and business-driven Business Development Manager to join an exciting client in the logistics industry. This global logistics provider offers personalized solutions through air, ocean, and road transport. The main goal for this role is to enhance brand recognition, attract new clients, expand the customer base, and help strengthen the company's presence in the UK. As a logistics consultant, you will bring value to clients by identifying service opportunities and streamlining supply chain operations.


    Day to Day Responsibilities:
    • Constantly introduce new clients to available services.
    • Efficiently onboard new clients into the organization.
    • Create and improve Standard Operating Procedures for each client in collaboration with the Commercial and Operations teams.
    • Leverage teams and resources to find tailored solutions for clients.
    • Introduce key members of the Commercial and Operations teams to clients.
    • Collaborate with the Commercial team to convert opportunities into service agreements.
    • Revive services for inactive accounts.
    • Participate in relevant industry events and networking activities.
    • Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure their needs are met and opportunities are maximized.
    • Uphold professional values and ensure consistency in branding and messaging.

    Required Skills & Qualifications:
    • Background in Imports or Exports Operational positions.
    • Familiarity with customs documentation, certificates, licenses, and general Customs Compliance.
    • Knowledge of Tariffs, Bonded customs, Special/Simplified Customs Procedures, AEO Procedures, and Inco Terms.
    • Strong organizational and communication abilities.
    • Teamwork skills and problem-solving capabilities.
    • Excellent customer service aptitude.
