Description
This role will be working on a rotating day shift pattern. Shift pay is applicable in addition to the base salary where relevant.Our supervisors are part of the key team workers that keep the vital food supply chain flowing.
You will be working as part of a shift team, working alongside the Cold store Managers and administration teams, managing the operation and the Operatives to ensure that we not only achieve but challenge our productivity daily.
Work with cold store staff on your shift to pick, pack, and scan ordersResponsible for resolving conflict within the team, managing poor performance, absence etc.
Loading / Unloading deliveries and supervising staff to do the same.
Prepare and complete orders in accordance with the schedule (load, pack, wrap, label and ship)
Operate warehouse vehicles, machinery, and equipment.
Ensure that the Company policies regarding Quality, Environment, Health & Safety etc are maintained at all times, including all standards and procedures required by accrediting bodies i.e.
, Previous warehouse / cold store experienceFLT licence would be advantageous.
Reach truck, Counterbalance and POEP licences preferred.
