    Description
    Supply Finance Business Partner
    We're looking for people with creativity, boldness and a sense of purpose to take Diageo and our timeless, pioneering brands to the next level

    Finance business partner and strategic thought partner, providing financial insights to drive growth whilst ensuring risk and volatility is managed and well-understood.

    Partner our Improve and Transform agenda, providing commercial decision support on our largest projects, delivering insight in an engaging & coherent way.

    Your impact will drive optimisation, drive cost out of our business, reduce our carbon footprint and deliver enhanced free cash flow.

    It will provide thorough financial & strategic support, guide decisions, drive financial performance and develop 1- 10 years financial plans.

    This person will engage and operate with stakeholders across the business to:

    Explore opportunities to optimise and drive cost out of our business, scenario planning & sensitivity analysis on key performance drivers.

    Provide financial and strategic support and governance on strategic initiatives, ensuring they are robust and deliver from strategy to execution.

    Development of financial plans and provide financial insights for target setting to ensure both short and multi-year priorities are considered.

    Performance management
    Champion a robust control environment and ensuring compliance. Constantly strive to improve accounting & control processes and champion the Code of Business Conduct.

    The nature of this role means you will be working on a wide-ranging and varied set of improve and transform projects that will expose you to a broad stakeholder map across Diageo's geographies and functions.

    Commercial competence and judgment; an understanding of both the business and external environment to draw from, ability to challenge, influence strategies and guide decisions

    Strong personal impact - build value relationships quickly across all levels within the organisation in a matrix environment, challenging and holding the teams to account, and being credible in front of senior partners and key strategic suppliers.

    The ability to work at pace with ambiguity and change - find creative solutions to problem and challenges, balancing the use of data and common sense to make good decisions
    Develop efficient ways of working and be agile in responding to change
