    This role forms part of the Public Markets Compliance Advisory team. Given the MGG business growth agenda both locally and internationally, the recruitment of this role is required in order to continue to support the business with their plans and to ensure we have the right capability and capacity within the team.

    Key role specific accountabilities

    • To support the MGG Senior Compliance Manager through provision of Compliance advisory and oversight activities in relation to Investments Compliance Advisory, Public Markets.

    • Responsible for provision of high quality proactive and reactive advice on Investments Compliance helping the business meet regulatory expectations and good industry practice.

    • Provide Compliance advice on Investment related processes including but not limited to Trade Order and Mandate Management, markets and instruments, ESG, Eligible Instruments, Trade Reporting, Business Expansion, Communication Recording, Overseas Investment Licences e.g. QFII, SEBI etc.

    • Represent Investments Compliance Advisory, Public Markets in the provision of appropriate subject matter input and resources to assist the business in delivering change.

    • Participate in regional and global initiatives and projects related to Investments Compliance Advisory, Public Markets.

    • Provide Compliance advice and support in the integration of regulatory developments applicable to Public Markets.

    • Provide input to the Compliance Monitoring & Assurance Team regarding Public Markets.

    Key knowledge, skills and experience

    ·An awareness and understanding of the wider business, economic, regulatory and market environment in which M&G plc operates.

    ·An understanding of public market asset classes including Equity, Multi Asset, Fixed Income.

    ·Knowledge of Investment related regulations including but not limited to UCITS, NURS, FCA SYSC, COBS, SUP as well as MiFiD, MiFIR, AIFMD, EMIR, SFTR and CSDR.

    Qualifications

    Educated to degree level, or equivalent qualifications/experience and/or professional qualification.
