    Job Description

    The purpose of this role is to lead all aspects of programme management for the ERP Strategy Programme, one of Brambles' Enterprise Programmes. The Brambles' Enterprise Programmes Portfolio is our portfolio of key strategic programmes delivering transformational change across the entire business. The Programme Management Lead will be responsible to deliver the ERP Strategy Programme, which is a multiyear project to transform the global ERP landscape by migrating from an aging core ERP system to a next generation market leading ERP platform, transforming business processes during implementation, as well as addressing impacted peripheral technologies.

    This ERP Strategy programme is expected to deliver an end-to-end ERP replacement utilizing the existing platform as a foundation while incorporating transformational innovations across the business departments. The programme will include an RFP for technology and vendor selection, high level and detailed roadmap for implementation and transformational change, change and deployment management, and implementation of the selected technology and the operating model needed for ongoing support of the platform, ensuring that the programme drives the maximum value for the investment.

    Key Accountabilities

  • Establish and lead an effective programme management structure for the Brambles ERP Enterprise Programme in accordance with the programme framework, including:
  • Leading successful delivery of all key milestones and deliverables
  • Management of programme budget within allocated scope
  • Identifying and managing dependencies, risks and issues and driving corrective actions
  • Establish effective programme governance, implement standardised tools, methodologies, and processes to enforce best practices, maintain compliance, provide actionable reporting, and ensure clear decision making.
  • Ensure programme has comprehensive change management plan and benefits realisation plan
  • Provide programme reporting capabilities tracking overall performance, risk/issue management and benefits realisation.
  • Resource management – ensure programme has a detailed resource plan and forecast to ensure key resources are available when needed.
  • Dotted line management of matrix programme teams – managing performance and providing guidance and coaching to develop capability and ensure programme delivery.
  • Accountable for presentation materials to be used in key governance forums and updates to Board, ELT, Sponsors and senior stakeholders.
  • Champion the value of effective programme management across the business and drive adoption of best practice approaches
  • Experience

  • 5+ years successfully leading and delivering complex muti-million IT programmes on time and on budget
  • Prior extensive experience leading and delivering ERP programmes from concept inception to production
  • In-depth knowledge of ERP business processes, data, and system integration technology and terminology
  • Prior experience implementing or migrating off SAP ERP
  • Proven track record of building relationships and influencing at senior management/executive-level within large organizations and of building and managing excellent business-wide relationships at all levels of an organization
  • Proven track record of leading remote, cross-functional, teams across multiple continents within a multi-partner ecosystem that deliver successful outcomes.
  • Experience working within an ITIL framework.
  • Functional understanding of application financial management, business case development, and annual budget preparation.
