    Job Description

    Venn Group is currently working on a very exciting opportunity with a renowned GP Practice in North West London who are looking for an experienced Managing Director to join their Executive directorate.

    Previous NHS experience is essential for this role.

    Job Title: Managing Director

    Banding: VSM

    Salary: £100,00 – £125,000 (based on experience)

    Directorate: Executive

    Start Date: ASAP

    Work pattern: 37.5 hours week

    Location: North West London

    Job Purpose:

    Our client is looking for a dynamic and visionary Managing Director with a proven track record in scaling up primary care organisations within a regulated environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing complex stakeholder relationships, driving technological innovation, and leading high-quality, cost-effective operational changes. This role is pivotal in steering the practice towards achieving its next milestone of becoming the largest practice in the UK, with a patient list target of 250,000.

    Key Requirements:

    • Deep understanding of General Practice
    • Track record of stakeholder management
    • Demonstrable business development achievements
    • Led high change and innovative organisations

    Duties:

    • Strategic leadership and management within a complex regulatory framework, including liaising with commissioners, the Integrated Care Board (ICB), the Care Quality Commission (CQC), Local Council, and patient groups
    • Spearheading technological advancements and innovations to maintain and enhance operational efficiencies and patient care quality
    • Managing and expanding stakeholder relationships, including patients, national media, and other general practices, to positively shape the narrative and reputation of GP Pathfinder Clinics
    • Driving business development initiatives to diversify revenue streams and ensure financial sustainability
    • Overseeing the transition to larger estates and adapting organizational structures and marketing models to support scalable growth towards a 250,000 patient target
    • Internally managing a Leadership Team made up of critical leaders to drive increasing operational efficiency and retain high quality of care without compromising growth.
