An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and experienced Finance Manager to join a dynamic team in a progressive business.
This role offers the chance to lead a well-established team of management accountants, forming a key part of the Finance Management team.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Finance to drive the department forward through team development and continuous improvement.
This role is based in Eccles and offers a competitive salary range of £45,000 - £50,000.As a Finance Manager, you will play an integral role in leading and nurturing a team of management accountants.
You will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the month-end close, driving continuous improvement across the team, and becoming a key liaison between the finance team and wider business.
Your role will also involve assisting with annual budgeting and monthly forecasting, providing various reports to UK management, analysing monthly KPI reports, and ensuring balance sheet reconciliations are handled effectively.
Your leadership skills will be crucial in managing the operational performance of the workflow invoicing system and assisting operational teams with accounting queries.
Drive continuous improvement of working processes across the management accounts teamBecome a key liaison between the finance team and wider business
Assist business financial controllers with annual budget and monthly forecast submissions
Provide various reports to UK management and group reporting for head office
Analyse monthly KPI report, providing commentary to Head of Finance
Ensure balance sheet reconciliations and complex journals are handled to a high standard
Manage operational performance of workflow invoicing system
Work closely with operational teams and assist with queries from an accounting perspective
The ideal candidate for this Finance Manager position will bring a wealth of experience in finance management along with excellent leadership skills.
You should have strong Excel skills, effective communication abilities, and strong analytical capabilities. Experience working with Operational Managers would be a desirable asset.High level of Excel skills
