Role summary
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the expanding Communications team at St John's College. We have ambitious plans for the growth of our communications activity, especially on digital platforms, to showcase to new audiences the achievements of St John's members, the student experience at College, and our rich and varied annual cultural and public engagement programme. The Communications team oversees both print and digital communications and promotes the College's cultural and public engagement programme.
Duties and responsibilities
The Senior Communications Manager plays a key role in the planning and delivery of St John's communications strategy, leading the continuous improvement of the College's digital presence, expanding the channels used and growing the audiences for St John's content, including the College's cultural and public engagement programme.
Essential requirements
This role is an excellent opportunity for a communications professional to develop, manage and implement the communications plan of a leading Oxford college. This includes managing communications via our website and social media platforms, and leading digital communications initiatives to showcase College news and promote our events programme. You will provide effective leadership to the team to support a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
