    Mobile apps to help you and your family stay connected and safe throughout the day.

    GeoZilla enables users and their family members to share location through iOS and Android devices, as well as connect popular IoT devices via their smartphones to be informed in case they need help.

    We are looking for an experienced Head of Finance and Operations , a knowledgeable Leader, who is ready to take responsibility for financial planning, analysis, and guidance.

    A great operator who is capable of handling multiple projects and initiatives of a growing mobile app business.

    As a key member of the Executive Team, Head of Finance and Operations will report to the CEO of the company and assume a strategic role in the overall management of the company.

    Master's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance required;
    — Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles;
    — Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections;
    — Hands-on experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Netsuite);
    — Hands-on experience with financial and analytical platforms at the core of operations of mobile app or web businesses (Stripe, Braintree, Paypal, Apple App Store, Google Play Store, AppFigures, BI tools, etc.)
    — Hands-on experience with analyzing legal contracts and agreements;
    — Advanced knowledge of MS Office software and accounting computer application systems;
    — Experience in strategic planning and execution;
    — Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects;
    — The ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and with staff at remote locations are essential;
    Experience in strategic planning and execution;
    Assess organizational performance against both the annual budget and the company's long-term strategy;
    Create, coordinate, and evaluate the financial programs and supporting information systems of the company including budgeting, tax planning, mergers and acquisitions;
    Approve and coordinate changes and improvements in automated financial and management information systems for the company;
    Evaluating long-term plans and introducing new programs and strategies;
    Financial Planning and Analysis
    Directs the preparation of all financial statements, including Income Statements, Balance sheets, shareholder reports, tax returns, and governmental agency reports;
    Assist in the development of financial planning and analysis exercises/reports;
    Finance
    Oversee cash, investment, and asset management;
    Oversee financing strategies and activities, as well as banking relationships;
    Develop and utilize forward-looking, predictive models and activity-based financial analyses to provide insight into the organization operations and business plans;
    Accounting and Administration
    The full scope of responsibilities for accounting, taxation, financial reporting and disputes with tax authorities;
    Ensure maintenance of appropriate internal controls and financial procedures;
    Ensure timeliness, accuracy, and usefulness of financial and management reporting for the company board of directors; oversee the preparation and communication of monthly and annual financial statements;
    Coordinate audits and proper filing of tax returns;
    Ensure legal and regulatory compliance regarding all financial functions;
    Oversee AR management and provide support to collections activities;
    Represent the company in efforts with investment bankers and potential investors;
    Prepare various analyses and reports required by corporate development efforts;
    Interact with other managers to provide consultative support to planning initiatives through financial and management information analyses, reports, and recommendations;
    Planning, Policy, and Investor Relations
    Coordinate the development and monitoring of budgets;
    Develop financial business plans and forecasts;
    Participate in corporate policy development as a member of the senior management team;

    Engage the finance committee of the board of directors to develop short-, medium-, and long-term financial plans and projections.
