Due to continued growth our client are now seeking a commercially minded General/Regional Director to assume responsibility of a state of the art manufacturing facility within Scotland.
Responsbilities:
Drive optimal commercial outcomes for the Group through proportionate focus on Plant, Region, Country and GroupCreate and implement a Sales plan for the region in conjunction with the UKI Sales & Commercial DirectorAct as part of the UKI management team Define action plans with senior management (CPK) for each of the areas, to achieve the results and objectives established.
Supervise the process of the company budget and projects, optimise improvement actions and establish corrective actionsDevelop and implement training and development plans for his/her direct reports.
Motivate and assist with the development of all employees in the region.Prepare the annual performance development system and define the action plan to be followed.
Ensure good customer relations.
Co-ordinate company resources to ensure the fulfilment of commitments made to customers.
Ensure the correct implementation of the Quality Management System.
Maintain highest possible product quality.
Ensure implementation of group procedures in subsidiary companies if applicable.
Define and evaluate management objectives and KPIs of the management team, in accordance with Group policy.
Represent the Company on all the following levels:

Minimum of 5 years' as a Commercial Director/Plant Manager Corrugated sector expertise is seen as an advantage, Full P&L/GM experience within manufacturing is a complete must3-5 years experience at senior manager levelDemonstrable experience of commercial and plant growth within a large manufacturing facility
