    Tourism Business Development Manager London (Hybrid)

    We are actively seeking a motivated individual to embark on a new role as:

    Business Development Manager

    with a GSA in the UK & Ireland

    (Hybrid Working)

    We are looking for a dynamic leader filled with enthusiasm, a passion for learning, and a drive for business success. While experience with a Tourism Marketing and PR agency is preferred, we encourage applications from candidates with a strong background in tourism products, marketing, or partnerships with well-known tour operators, tourism boards, or hotel companies,

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities and lead the team in creating and executing marketing and sales strategies.
    • Evaluate existing Tourism accounts to identify growth areas.
    • Prepare pitches and RFPs for new and existing clients.
    • Build relationships with new clients, understand their needs, and develop proposals.
    • Conduct market research and analyze competition to adjust strategy decisions.
    • Develop, implement, and manage strategic marketing plans.
    • Organize top-class industry events on behalf of clients.
    • Grow the department and strategically lead the business development of the Tourism Marketing & PR Team.
    • Report to the General Manager on business development performance and collaborate with other departments.

    About You :

    • Minimum 10 years of experience in the tourism industry with personnel responsibility.
    • Higher university degree or equivalent qualification.
    • Extensive personal network within the UK & Ireland tourism industry, and a strong network of contacts with tourism boards, cruise companies, and hotel companies.
    • Ability to work under pressure, foster team spirit, and coaching experience.
    • Charismatic, and resilient to changing environments, and client requests.
    • Self-driven, dynamic, and passionate about the travel industry.
    • Outstanding written communication and presentation skills.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
    • Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish and French is an advantage.
    • Proficiency in MS Office Products and other relevant platforms (Canva, etc.).
    • Enthusiastic and eager-to-learn leader capable of empowering, motivating, and coaching the team.
