    Description

    We are looking for a highly experienced Broker Support Technician to assist the Petronas team in a technical / broker support capacity. In this role you will service the Petronas programme policies and work on allocated tasks and projects as directed to facilitate the business operations of the Energy division.

    This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to progress their career and work with a great team on a high profile client.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • To support in the production of clear and accurate client and market documentation and adhere to all regulatory requirements.
  • Communication with clients and associate brokers on renewals and policy updates.
  • Approach leading underwriters with simple renewals and endorsements.
  • Submit market documentation electronically via Whitespace.
  • Create and maintain policies in GXB system.
  • Produce premium calculations, security flowcharts and processing instructions for submission to PRO via Edge.
  • Email formal and market documentation to clients, including Cover Notes, Slips, Endorsements, Debit Notes, etc.
  • Adhere to Sanctions, KYC and Contract Certainty requirements.
  • Monitor incoming premium settlements, assist in IBA allocation and request payment on to underwriters/clients.
  • Monitor aged premium debt and contact clients accordingly. Liaise with IBA (Mphasis) as necessary.
  • Help resolve queries received from clients, associate brokers, underwriters and/or from Xchanging via PRO.
  • Maintain up-to-date and orderly files in the shared drive.
  • Maintain database of current work in progress.
  • Comply with relevant legal, regulatory and Ardonagh Specialty compliance requirements, E&O compliance
    procedures and Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

    • Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years experience as Energy Technician / Broker Support.
  • Preferably some experience within premium processing environment or IBA, but not essential.
  • Fluent in Excel and Word.
