    Description

    Hamptons are working closely with a large children's social care provider who are seeking a Registered Manager for their 4 bedded children's home, which is located in Liverpool.

    The home is rated "good" with Ofsted and specialises in LD / Autism

    This is a fantastic opportunity to join a very ambitious company who is passionate about forever bettering the lives of the vulnerable young people in their care and to play a crucial part in their overall growth and development.

    Salary: £55,000 + £5000 welcome bonus

    Location: Liverpool

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Working in partnership with the staff team to safeguard our clients young people at all times.
    • Having overall operational responsibilities for the management of the home, including oversight of all records and personal files.
    • Leading on the development, implementation and monitoring of our clients young people's individual plans. Including liaising with the appropriate external professionals, agencies and families.
    • Contributing to the development of the team. Empowering them to promote independence within the residential setting and wider community.
    • Conducting individual performance and development reviews and supervisions with senior members of the care team.
    • Support the care team to organise appropriate, exciting and engaging activities, trips and extended visits for the young people.

    Experience and Qualifications:

    • Qualified to Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) or equivalent.
    • Proven experience in a managerial role within a residential childcare setting, preferably within a therapeutic environment.
    • Up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and best practice guidelines.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies.
    • Must be registered with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) update service.
