ABOUT THE ROLE
The role of E-commerce / Online Ordering Manager will be responsible for leading the onboarding of customers to a new Online Ordering platform across our UK Foodservice sites.
This will involve engagement with customers and colleagues across the UK, as well as becoming the primary contact with the software provider.
The role will support the Foodservice branches with their use of the system, controlling and coordinating data accuracy and liaising with Dole IT and the platform provider.
The role will also encompass EDI for the Division, becoming the point of contact for EDI and driving increased use of EDI through customer engagement and liaising with the sales teams.
This is a new role and the successful applicant will need to demonstrate an ability to problem solve and work across multiple locations and multiple internal / external groups of users and stakeholders.
Initially the role will be stand alone, but as the platform is rolled out across the UK we envisage line management responsibility for a team of 2-3 people, potentially across UK locations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with Divisional Directors, Senior Managers and Business Analysts to drive the rollout of the system across multiple UK locations
Work with customers to support the onboarding process and liaising with Dole branches
Take responsibility for EDI for the Division, working with Senior colleagues, sales teams, IT and customers to drive increased EDI take up
Become the primary contact with the external software provider to ensure we get the best use out of the system
Become a Super User for the platform, able to help colleagues out with any queries
Coordinate and control business data flows to the platform, i.e. customer data, pricing, promotions, product master data, etc.
Work with Dole IT to ensure accurate information flows to and from ERP systems
Troubleshoot areas of master data and develop processes to ensure accuracy going forwards
Create and maintain relevant documentation and procedures
Support any future development of the platform, i.e. additional modules, new features etc
EXPERIENCE
~2+ years' experience in a relevant or related role. This could be in a similar role, or in a role with experience directly applicable – Sales / Telesales, Operations, master data, IT & systems
~ Comfortable with direct customer relationships to support the onboarding process
~ Ability to take over ownership from the project team and work with key stakeholders to determine requirements and drive the rollout across the branches
~ Excellent communication skills, ability to interpret complex requirements across business and IT
~ Ability to design and generate reports and analysis from multiple systems
~ An understanding of ERP systems, E-commerce and EDI
~ Proven ability to manage complexity whilst driving standardisation
~ A high degree of ownership, taking an organised and strategic approach to work
~ Practical problem-solving approach, able to ask for help when needed but comfortable progressing tasks independently
~ Experienced in using Microsoft Office – Excel advanced, Teams, Powerpoint
~ FMCG or fresh produce experience would be an advantage
