    Description

    MCS Group is delighted to be partnering exclusively with a well-established company based in Belfast to recruit for an Accounts Payable Team on a full time, permanent basis.

    This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has an interest in accounts and is ready to reap the rewards of working for one of Northern Ireland's top companies

    Reporting to the Head Office Accountant, you will support a team of seven administrators on a day-to-day basis whilst also promoting their personal development & growth.

    This is a great role for someone who has a strong Accounts Payable background & looking to take that step up to management.

    Maintaining company's purchase ledger with the assistance of the team
    Reconciling supplier statements to accounts for payments
    Ensuring supplier reconciliations and payments are evenly distributed to the team and updating supplier information to our internal DMS
    Reconciling manufacturer purchase ledger accounts taken by Direct Debit
    Reviewing the purchase ledger team's weekly purchase ledger payment reconciliations
    Ensuring all documents are processed on time and fully completed for month end close as well as liaising with internal management and external customers
    Assisting with closedown of purchase ledger at month end
    Strong previous accounts payable experience
