Description
Meatex is the number one wholesale meat trading company in the UK.We're looking for an experienced Sales Executive to join our Telford office, to help expand and grow our ambitious company into new territories.
The ideal applicant should have a good background knowledge of the food trade, specifically meat, fish, or other protein-based products, along with a proven track record in sales and business development.
Drive and develop sales within the protein sector, taking and placing orders, customer liaison, establishing and maintaining own customer portfolio.
Build rapport and establish long term relationships with both customers and suppliers.Meet and exceed sales targets.
Successfully create business from new and existing customer accounts
Computer literate with a knowledge of MS Office.
Experience and working knowledge of CRM systems
Be outgoing with great communication skills including an excellent telephone manner.
Be open to travel, to destinations in the UK and Europe.
Will have the drive and commitment to seek every possible sales opportunity.
